At times pet owners need help with payment options for their pet's care. An emergency or unexpected medical problem can happen to your pet leaving you unprepared financially. In an effort to help pet owners afford needed treatment for their pet, we offer CareCredit payment plans.

CareCreditTM is a credit line provided by a bank for veterinary treatments and procedures for your pets. CareCreditTM provides you with a line of credit to cover your pet's medical and surgical treatment with no up-front costs, special financing, low monthly payment options, and no-prepayment penalties. McKenzie Animal Hospital pays the up-front finance charge to make it easier for you to help take care of your pet. Not all practices offer CareCredit financing options. For complete details, please go to www.carecredit.com.

Appointments

We offer scheduled appointments to allow ample time for all patients and surgical procedures. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, “Admit” appointments are available. Leaving your pet with us for a few hours for an “Admit” appointment gives you flexibility to bring your pet at the time that works best for you. We will schedule a discharge appointment for later in the day. You will need to fill out an Admit Form with important information the doctor will need when examining your pet. Once the doctor has examined your pet, s/he will give you a call to go over the diagnosis, treatment options and to give you discharge instructions.  A day care fee is charged for all “Admit” appointments.

Patient Arrival

Patient comfort and safety is of utmost importance. For your safety, and that of others, all pets need to be either on a leash with a collar fitted to not slip off or in a crate. Please keep your dog on a short leash and keep them close while in the reception area and exam rooms. We have two reception areas to separate cats and dogs. Please keep dogs away from the cat area to minimize undue stress.

Surgery Admissions

Our office opens bright and early for your convenience. Surgery admit time is between 7:30am and 8:00am. Our Client Care team will assist you with authorization forms and a technician will answer any questions you may have. As soon as the procedure is completed, a doctor will call the number provided on the authorization forms to give you an update.

McKenzie Animal Hospital, PC is pleased to provide you with printable forms that can simplify the check in process. Just visit our Forms page, select the appropriate form, fill out, print and bring it with you to your appointment.
