McKenzie Animal Hospital's 30th Anniversary
Pet Family Fair Set Aug. 16 to Feature K-9 Demos, Talks and Prizes
Police K-9 demonstrations, medical care for children’s toy stuffed animals and talks about pet acupuncture treatment are among the many activities set Saturday, Aug. 16, at a free, pet health care and wellness event hosted by McKenzie Animal Hospital in Springfield.
The Pet Family Fair, scheduled 2-6 p.m. at 5303 Main St., is in celebration of 30 years of animal health care services to Lane County residents.

McKenzie Animal Hospital is proud to announce Mekeesha as the summer employee of the quarter. She has been a outstanding member of the McKenzie Animal Hospital Team for the past five years. Mekeesha has been remarkably dedicated throughout the past year while enduring treatment for breast cancer. As of Wednesday June 25th, we are proud to announce that Mekeesha is cancer free. Mekeesha really defines caring for pets and their people too. She is proud to call the majority of our clients her friends. We are grateful to have Mekeesha on our team and want to say thank you for the time and energy you put into our hospital. She and her family have 3 cats: Stanley, Cleo and Mandy. They also occasionally welcome foster kittens into their home and help find them homes.
